The Hastings Buddhist Centre is part of the Triratna Buddhist Community (formerly the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order). Led by Sue Bower and Chris O'Donoghue, we meet once a fortnight for meditation and discussion. Anyone interested in finding out more about meditation, Buddhism and the TBC is welcome to join us.

(As the meditation takes place on the first floor, we regret that there is no convenient disabled access).
We alternate two programmes every other Thursday. One week we we start with a 45 minute body relaxation and meditation. Usually either Mindfulness of Breathing or the Metta Bhavana (practice of loving kindness), followed by tea, biscuits and a discussion based on a Dharma text that we are studying. We are currently reading "Buddhism: tools for living your life" (more details are given in STUDY BOOKS AND WEBSITES below.)
The second week is more devotional and aimed at those with some experience of meditation.
Suggested donation per session, £3 -£5
