meditation and dharma study
Led by Tonbridge Order member Vidyakaya with Karunabala , we meet once a week for meditation and discussion. Anyone interested in finding out more about meditation, Buddhism and the Triratna Buddhist Community is welcome to join us by coming along to a Thursday night.
You need to be over 18 years, and be able to be physically and mentally comfortable enough to sit silently for 30 minutes
We ask that people come along and learn both Meditation practices and show regular interest in Hastings Sangha, before joining the website.

I am glad to join the Triratna group in Hastings. The right path, the right way.
I have lived here for a good few years now and have been more serious about my Practice over the past couple of years, though being aware and happy with Triratna for a long while before this! I look forward to getting to meetings whenever it is possible and spending time with like minded beings, and learning as I go.
For those interested in Donald Crowhurst's story as I mentioned there is an excellent documentary film Deep Water I attach a link of review http://www.bbc.co.uk/films/2006/12/11/deep_water_2006_review.shtml

The meetings start at 7.30pm and the doors are open from 7.15. Please arrive before 7.30 as we close the doors when we start the meditation and cannot allow the disruption of latecomers. We finish at 9.30.
